There was a time when you could define
fashion and ongoing trends on your fingertips, but as everything is
waiting to be changed, this ease of categorising fashion trends also
changed and made everything more complex and open to discussion. You
can not define the trends going on in the industry at the moment.
There is something for every unique individual which has made it
difficult to pinpoint one designing gem. But one thing that hasn’t
changed over the years is the complexity of fashion and designing.
They were and still are complex
mechanisms that are responsible for changing the economical structure
of the country, no matter on how big or small it may be. And in a
country like India, where people are obsessed with what they wear and
how it affects their culture, the fashion industry has always been
something that symbolises progress and social beliefs.
But in the last few decades, the
fashion industry has changed tremendously. Now, all the major brands
and designers have put the quality of their products in the periphery
and are concentrating on how to make everything more profitable. You
can’t expect to get high-quality and customer-centric merchandise
from them anymore - a major part to play in this mindset of the
designers is the kind of education they have got and how they have
perceived everything around them. Fashion companies used the talent
and enthusiasm of the designers to roll out products in the market,
but everything has tilted on the money-making side of the business.
In all this negativity, one ray of
hope for the industry is the availability of fashion institutes who
are willing to keep providing their unmatched support to the
industry. One name in the fashion education sector of the country
which is highly regarded by all the major brands and designing hubs
is INSD [International School of Design]. It has been in the industry
for many years and has established itself in the list of the top
Fashion Designing
Colleges in Delhi with the way it’s been providing
career-oriented education to all the aspiring designers in the
capital.
INSD was started for the sole purpose
of making the students realise the importance of designing their own
unique designs and for giving them a platform where they can learn in
an open environment without the pressure of performing from the off;
something which can’t be said about many other Fashion
Institutes in Delhi at the moment.
